The Nocton VillageTrail has been developed by a group of residents who recognised that this little village's story is both unique and valuable and has affected the history of Great Britian at various points over the years. This history and its significance to the rest of the country is reflected in the Sundial by on the village green. The design itself is based on a dandelion clock and the low relief panels around it depict aspects of the village history. The national arts and architecture award winning Church pathway was created during open access workshops at the village hall and depicts motifs that can be found painted on the walls inside the Church. The Cow on the vall represents the village's relationship with agriculture and is made from metal objects collected by a local farmer.
